The gardens and recreational areas of the valley are always open. To get to Can Masdeu for activites, weekly garden open days and the PIC social centre:

The best way to reach Can Masdeu is using public transport, then walk 10 minutes.

Metro: Take the L3 and get off at stop Canyelles or Valldaura.

Bus: The bus 47 goes from Plaza Catalunya and get to Canyelles in 25 minutes. The closest stop is Ronda Guineueta Vella. Buses from some other parts of barcelona stop at Plaza Karl Marx. If you want a different perspective can take the 102 (going Plaza Ibiza in the Cemetery of Collserola) and get off at the Coll de la Ventosa to easily walk down to Can Masdeu.

Walking: It is 20 minutes walk from the Nou Barris Library or 30 minutes from the Plaza Ángel Pestaña or the Ateneu Popular de Nou Barris. Yes, it’s a bis of a climb. An interesting option is to walk from the Sierra de Collserola. In this case there are countless paths that take you to the heart of the valley of Can Masdeu. The main one is the track that comes down the Coll de la Ventosa from the Paseo de Aguas, at the height of the Can Rius bridge.

Both options, and many others, can also be made by bike.

By Car: Exit the Ronda de Dalt at Exit 4 (Huerta) or 3 (Guineueta), which leaves you very close to Plaza Karl Marx. Above la antigua clínica Staurus you will find the Carretera Alta de Roquetes (see map below), where you can park your vehicle. There is a chain across the track up to the house to prevent motor vehicles entering the Collserola Natural Park.

Important: The community does not accept guests who have not previously arranged their stay by email.
